Honestly, I have mixed feelings about the entire endeavor. It seems self-important to assume that my experiences or ideas are interesting enough for public entertainment. That said, enough people have requested that I keep them posted on my travels to convince me that there may be value in what I write to many potential readers. Thus, to those who do choose to read, please post/respond to my blogs. I would hate for this to be a one-way forum, so please do comment, criticize, critique, and question whatever I post. It will make for a far more interesting website, I am sure. And to those who find what I have to say boring, mundane, or otherwise offensive, just be happy I'm blogging and not perpetually spamming your inbox!
Lastly, as I was discussing with Lydia, there are a slew of logistics involved with this form of communication. For example, how do I know if someone has read my blog? If someone writes me an email, is it appropriate for me to cut and paste descriptive aspects of my blog? What if I regurgitate to them something they've already seen? Or assume they know something they don't? With these questions in mind, I ask that you be forgiving of my blog etiquette. As you can probably already tell, I've not the foggiest clue what I'm doing. So please pardon (ah, wonderful memories of Dan) any and all mistakes I'm making or will make.
With that as introduction, I present to you, my blog...
